Project Objectives:
We hope that more schools in the county will participate in
New York Harvest for NY Kids in the Fall. It is a wonderful chance to try a
small scale project and introduce the
concept of buying locally.
Plans For The Future:
Cornell Cooperative Extension will continue to encourage
local producers to see schools as a marketing opportunity. We will also work
will schools to help overcome real and perceived barriers to buying locally.
