Oregon Passes Farm to School Bill

The Oregon State Legislature just passed the Farm to School and School Garden Bill, House Bill (HB) 2800!  The bill appropriates $200,000 to the Oregon Department of Education to support a competitive grants pilot program in two school districts in the state.  The grant will provide additional reimbursement for school meals to help the schools buy Oregon foods, and support school garden teaching activities.
